- Certified Professional: Valid Missouri Teaching Certification in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) (K-12).
- Degree Requirements: Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree, required; Master’s degree, preferred.

- Partner with Families: Act as a dedicated resource for our international families, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and part of the FFSD "New Chapter."
- Utilize Resources: Leverage our district’s unique assets, like Little Creek Nature Area and our STEAM initiatives, to provide rich, hands-on vocabulary-building experiences.
- Foster Belonging: Build a school-wide culture that celebrates linguistic diversity and views multilingualism as a premier academic asset.
