The Ferguson Florissant School District is seeking an outstanding educator for the position of (Grant Funded) Supplemental Math Teacher at McCluer High School.  Ferguson-Florissant is committed to challenging students to achieve academic excellence and personal success by providing state-of-the-art instruction and a challenging curriculum within a warm, caring environment in partnership with dedicated parents, staff and community. 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate in Math grade 9-12

• Master’s Degree Preferred
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity, interest, and abilities of students.
• Guide the learning process toward the achievement of established District curriculum goals, establish and communicate clear objectives to the students for all lessons, units and projects.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media.
• Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis, provide progress reports as required, and communicated with parents as deemed necessary.
• Maintain accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, District policy, and administration regulations.
• Develop a code of conduct for the classroom, which is consistent with established Discipline Code of the District and the assigned building. Develop rules of classroom behavior, which are enforced in a fair and just manner.

• Maintain good attendance.
